I came across this quote today and started thinking about what this message really means to me. I realize subconsciously I often times sit back and say wish I had, if only I was, if only I did, or if only I could. But the more important question is what have I done to achieve what I wish I had, did I go to the gym to soften my not so attractive belly so I only could wear that half shirt (joking), or if only I could speak Spanish, travel the world, or feed a starving family.
So starting today I have set the following goals for myself and over a period of time I will update my blog with my progress. My mission is to finish what I start and do something I've never done... let the process begin!
1) Have a vision session. - What are the things that really excite me; think think think.... there's gotta be something.
2) Commit to something I always say I'm going to do.
3) Replace negative thoughts with positive ones.
4) Learn a new skill
5) Say yes to something I always talk myself out of
6) Take pictures of things I am interested in
7) Move one of my friends into a new pool
8) Do something I enjoy alone
9) Volunteer within my dream industry
10) Attend a networking event
Such a great list, Meko! I love it. I think about those things almost every day. I also think its important to state them the way you did - you're more likely to commit to them once its publicly displayed :) I am with you on a lot of these. Wow. I feel as though you've read my mind - I'll be cheering for you!!!

Wow! 10 things to start working on. And it's great that you'll post your progress. Brave. Go Meko! There are a few I really like and should incorporate in my "private" list...ha ha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Krista, I'm really excited here! Yep Rochelle 10 things, I should be able to achieve each of them and so can you, even if it's on your private list!!!
